Richard D. Levin is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Group. He represents clients in a variety of areas including business planning, real estate acquisitions, commercial leasing, development and finance, securitized conduit loans and transactional banking.

Richard has written and lectured on Delaware Alternative Entities and the requirements of the Delaware Opinion in commercial real estate financing on a national level as well as business acquisitions, mortgage financing and the lawyer's responsibilities in real estate closings at the state level.

A former Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, Richard has tried cases before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Superior Court and has argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit as well as the Delaware Supreme Court and was extensively involved in the damage and financial aspects of the firm's intellectual property litigation practice.

He has been an active member of many community and national organizations. He has served as President of the Wilmington Jewish Community Center and as a board member of the Jewish Community Center Association of North America.
