Patricia ("Pat") Smink Rogowski is a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. She is the Chair of the firm’s Hiring Committee and a co-chair of the Patent Prosecution and Counseling section.

Pat represents clients in a variety of areas including copyrights, trademarks, copyright and trademark litigation, counseling and opinions, licensing and transactions, interferences, patent litigation, prosecution, patent reissue and reexaminations and unfair competition and trade secret law in the mechanical arts.

Pat is a mechanical engineer and represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Her experience includes patent, trademark and copyright prosecution, litigation in federal district courts and in appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Pat was invited to join the Delaware District Court Intellectual Property Advisory Committee. She assists out of state attorneys as local counsel before the Delaware District Court.

She previously served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association and is the immediate past President of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association.

She lectures inventors' groups, professional associations and law students on introductory and advanced intellectual property issues. She counsels clients to identify opportunities to protect and successfully enforce intellectual property rights and how best to defend against baseless claims. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as a recommended intellectual property law practitioner in Delaware.
