
Eric J. Evain is a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. He represents clients in patent litigation involving chemical matters.
After receiving his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Eric worked for over ten years as a Corporate Research Scientist before joining Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP. His experience spanned bench research through process development to full-scale production in the specialty chemicals, petroleum and polyolefin industries. Eric also has broad experience with computer assisted molecular modeling and design on both the personal computer and supercomputer platforms.
He has authored and presented over a dozen scientific articles and is a named inventor on numerous United States and foreign patents. He is a past Wolcott Fellow, having served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Justice Joseph T. Walsh of the Delaware Supreme Court.
